Xiaomi announced the global version of Xiaomi Mi Band 6 with NFC last month. Now the fitness bracelet with the feature to make payments by approach has officially begun to be sold outside China, starting in Europe. The wearable variant also comes with built-in Alexa microphone and virtual assistant.
Sales began this weekend in Italy. In The European country, the variant of the BRACELET with NFC can already be purchased in the manufacturer’s online store and other platforms for 54.99 euros; the amount is equivalent to about R$ 360 in direct conversion. But only one color option is available to Italian consumers: black.
It is worth remembering that this is not the first time that Xiaomi sells an edition of its BRACELET WITH NFC outside China. In 2020, the company began selling the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with the feature to Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. In the Russian market, the device reached stores for 3,990 rubles.
The launch takes place about a month after the announcement of the fitness bracelet with the function. On September 15, Xiaomi reported that it would take the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 with NFC out of China in partnership with MasterCard. In addition to the option to make payments by approximation, the device also brings the virtual assistant Amazon Alexa.
The other specifications are the same as the model without NFC. The screen, for example, remains colored and 1.56 inch. The pulse oximeter also remains, as do sensors to monitor heart beats and exercises. The edition without payments by approach arrived in Brazil in June for R $ 700.
On this occasion, Xiaomi also announced the global edition of its Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet. The 11-inch screen draws attention to the 120 Hz refresh rate and the brand’s electronic pen support. The device has the suggested price from 349 euros for the European market, the equivalent of about R $ 2.290 in direct conversion.
