After the Hybrid versions, Alfa Romeo has also opened orders for the new Tonale with the 130 hp 1.6 diesel engine. With this novelty, the Italian brand expands the offer of its new SUV with a new engine that, highlights the manufacturer, will be highly appreciated in Italy especially by business customers.
Announcing the availability of the diesel engine, Alfa Romeo also added that so far more than 4,500 orders for the new Tonale have already been collected. The first deliveries to customers are already underway.
NEW DIESEL ENGINE
Going into more detail, the new Alfa Romeo Diesel can be ordered with the 1.6-liter diesel engine capable of delivering 130 hp with 320 Nm of torque. The power unit is paired with the TCT automatic transmission with dual clutch and six gears. As standard, among other things, we find the Integrated Brake System (IBS), the Alfa Romeo Dynamic Torque Vectoring and the suspension with FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) shock absorbers.
Even the diesel model, of course, will have a digital certificate NFT (Non-Fungible-Token), that is, a secret and non-modifiable digital register on which the main information of the vehicle is reported, from the maintenance performed, to the km traveled, up to any accidents suffered.
Alfa Romeo Tonale with the diesel engine is offered in the Super, Sprint and TI trim levels with prices starting from 35,500 euros. In all three trim levels we find the digital instrumentation with a 12.3-inch display and the new infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touch screen. The pricing scheme is as follows:
